AU-220M production of the Central scientific research Institute "Burevestnik", which is included in NPK Uralvagonzavod, was presented on February 22, 2015 at the international defence industry exhibition IDEX 2015 in Abu Dhabi.
"We will not knowingly brought new models of equipment, in particular, the modification of the fighting compartment for fighting machine with wheel chassis 8×8 Emirati production - artillery AU-220M. We hope that colleagues will agree on an appropriate contract for the supply installation in the UAE," said the Minister.
