• Poroshenko announced the release of 57 prisoners of security forces

  • The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said about the release from captivity 57 troops. The head of state wrote on his page in Facebook.

    Poroshenko said that 21 people had been released in the course of negotiations on Thursday, September 11, and 36 - in the night of Friday, September 12.

    At the same time, at the headquarters of the militia reported RIA Novosti that in the night of Friday the militia gave 31 strongman, and in return received 36 fighters defense of Donbass. However earlier in the headquarters of the self-proclaimed Donetsk national Republic was talking about the exchange of 36 military on the 31st of militia.

    An agreement about the exchange of prisoners was reached during the consultations of the contact group on the crisis in the East of Ukraine, which took place in Minsk on 5 September. Kiev and militias have repeatedly accused each other of delaying the process of exchange.
