The Prosecutor General's office of Ukraine found a "hole" in the defence budget of the Republic in the amount of 6.1 billion hryvnias (almost 237 million dollars). On Saturday, August 12, according to ZN.UA.
It is noted that such indicators debt of the enterprises-suppliers of the Ministry of defense made up by the end of 2016, an increase of 2.4 billion hryvnias (93,2 million dollars). These data are presented in a letter to Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko in the name of the Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman sent in mid-July to the government (document №10/2/1-20618-17).
Lutsenko has noticed that "hole" is about 11 percent of annual funding, and amounted to 755 million (29.3 million dollars).
In June, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reported, that the public debt of the Republic in April 2017 rose nearly two billion dollars to 74.3 billion. The growth of this indicator in the Agency associated with the financing of the state budget by borrowing, a decision on capitalization of PrivatBank and the guarantee Fund of individuals ' deposits and hryvnia devaluation.
