The cost of construction of the highway "Tavrida" in the Crimea will amount to about 140 billion rubles. On Friday, may 12, Minister of transport of Russia Maxim Sokolov, reports TASS.
"The ultimate value of this object according to the decision of the government is determined to within a little less than 140 billion rubles. We are talking prices in 2016 because decisions were made last year," said Sokolov.
In April the Minister of transport, informing of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the pace of construction of Crimean bridge, said, what efforts his Department is focused on the construction and renovation of the 240-kilometre-long "Tavrida". Sokolov then noted that the preparatory work are deployed at all sites, completed development of design documentation and its entire volume for examination.
In September 2016, the head of the Russian Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov reported, that his Department has budgeted for 2017-2019 funds for the construction of the highway "Tavrida".
The length of the Crimean Federal highway "Tavrida" of the road will be approximately 300 kilometers. It can move up to 43 thousand cars a day. Construction should be completed by 2020.
