The head of Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov has proposed convening a new Yalta conference, to complete the discussion about the affiliation of the Peninsula. On Wednesday, March 15, he said at the international round table "Crimean spring three years on: achievements and prospects", reports RIA Novosti.
Konstantinov said that in international law it is necessary to reflect the situation, recognizing the right of peoples to self-determination, if the state was a military coup. "How to do it? To convene a new Yalta conference in the Crimea", — said the speaker of the state Council.
According to him, Yalta is a good example in dealing with complex issues, as in the postwar period, events developed according to the decision of the last conference here. "And we need to finish discussion on the issue of recognizing the Crimean referendum as legitimate political actions", — concluded the head of the Republican Parliament.
Earlier Wednesday, the leader of the party "Fair Russia" Sergei Mironov made the initiative to move to Crimea a number of Federal agencies, particularly the Federal Agency for tourism, and Rossotrudnichestvo. According to the Deputy, giving the Peninsula a part of capital's functions will stimulate its development.
