In the Krasnoyarsk region Governor, working in the region industrial enterprises, as well as of the Siberian Federal University signed an environment Charter. About it reported in a press-release "Norilsk Nickel" which also joined the Charter.
Companies shall, in particular, to modernize the equipment, improve energy efficiency of production and processing of industrial waste. The document is open and all interested companies can join the Charter.
"In the development strategy of our region basic principle: edge to humans. Vice-President of "Norilsk Nickel" Elena Bezdenezhnykh, said that the company participates in the project mainly for economic reasons. "More profitable to spend money on the environment now than later to reap the results," she explained.
