• Eggs found new and useful properties

  • American nutritionists have called new and useful properties of chicken eggs. A study published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition, a brief account of it reports edition EurekAlert!

    Daily consumption of one egg, as shown by scientists, 12 percent reduces risk of stroke is the fifth leading cause of death in the United States. The use of food product, meanwhile, has no significant impact on the development of coronary heart disease.

    To such conclusions scientists have come, having conducted a meta-analysis of studies done in 1982-2015 years that evaluated the relationship between the development of cardiovascular diseases and consumption of eggs.

    "Eggs do contain many beneficial nutrients, including antioxidants that slow down the oxidative and inflammatory processes. They are also a great source of protein, the use of which is associated with lower blood pressure," said study co-author Dr. Dominic Alexander.
