• In figure skating Federation announced the return of Sotnikova on the ice

  • Olympic champion 2014 in women singles Adelina Sotnikova figure skater plans to participate in the next championship of Russia. "R-Sport" said the Director-General of the Federation of figure skating in Russia (FCCR) Alexander Kogan.

    The competition will be held from 20 to 26 December in Chelyabinsk.

    Sotnikova showed the new program of the season on a control skating skaters of the national team of Russia in Sochi, which took place in September of this year, but then took a proposal to participate in the show on the First channel.

    She won the Olympic gold in Sochi, then due to injury missed the season-2014/15. In December last year a figure skater took the sixth place in the championship of Russia, after that Sotnikova did not participate in the competition.
