• Ukrainian lawyer filed a lawsuit on Poroshenko because of the ban of social networks

  • Lawyer "Chuguev human rights group" Roman Likhachev filed a lawsuit against the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the abolition of his decree ordering to close the user access to Russian social networks. About it Likhachev said on his page on Facebook.

    "I will not condone such lawless and unpunished violation of the rights of citizens, Mr. President. And it's not in VK and classmates, etc., it's in the way to limit freedom," wrote the lawyer.

    "What is tomorrow? Disable think? To ban breathing?" — asked Likhachev issue. He pointed to the fact that Ukraine — a country that is moving to Europe and doing what North Korea.

    "I just can't understand where and when I had granted the state the right to determine what and where me to look, to read and write", — concluded the defender.

    The complaint, which is attached to the post, filed to the Supreme administrative court of Ukraine with a demand to recognize illegal the decision of the President in part contrary to law, and repeal those provisions of the Ordinance.

    16 may Poroshenko signed the decree, according to which the services of the companies "Yandex" and Mail.Ru Group and also social network "Schoolmates" and "Vkontakte" will be blocked in the country. According to the document, the company within three years will not be able to carry out any financial transactions and withdraw money or other assets outside the country.

    Internet-Association of Ukraine recognized, that the limitation of access to Russian resources is technically impossible. According to the Chairman of the organization Alexander Fedenko, on the implementation of the Ordinance you will need about a billion dollars and two years.
