The Investigative Committee in the Rostov region establishes the circumstances of the death of the clown Oleg Popov. About it reports TASS with reference to the press service of the Ministry.
"Investigatory management across the Rostov region has initiated preliminary examination into the death of Oleg Popov", — stated in the message. Other details of the incident in the TFR could not be called.
Oleg Popov died on 87-m to year of life at the hotel of the circus of Rostov-on-don, where he was on tour. According to the Director of the circus, Dmitry Reznichenko, the artist suddenly stopped heart when he watched TV.
Condolences in connection with death of Popov expressed the Minister of culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky said that the clown was "a big crowd favorite, one of the most recognizable artists of our country".
