• The Russians criticized the Federal center for budget spending on Crimea

  • More than half of respondents "Levada center," believe that the Russian authorities are wrong, directing funds from the Federal budget on development of the Crimea in the conditions of reduction of expenses on social sphere. This follows from the results studies, which was held among 1.6 thousand people in 48 regions of the country.

    On the question of whether the government's actions in this regard, the option of "probably not" was chosen by 31 percent of all respondents, and "definitely no," said 24 percent.

    Positively this question was answered in the amount of 24 percent, 9 percent found it difficult to assess. The remaining 11 were excluded because these respondents in the previous question felt that the Crimea is mostly financed by private funds.

    The country has a Federal target program (FTP) for the development of various facilities in the Crimea and Sevastopol until 2020 will be spent up to 680 billion rubles. This year, as it was written TASS, on implementation of Federal target programs from the Federal budget will be almost 158 billion. One of the key objects of the programme is the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait. The total project cost, fully funded by the state, will be almost 228 billion rubles.

    Crimea became part of Russia after the March 2014 referendum in which the majority of inhabitants of the region have supported such a decision. Kiev refused to recognize the results of the plebiscite. In Moscow insist that the accession of the region consistent with international law.
