  • Farewell to Oleg Popov will be held on Monday, November 7, in the Rostov circus. About it RIA Novosti said the Director of the state circus Dmitry Ivanov.

    The artist at the request of the relatives will be buried in Germany, where he had emigrated in 1991. Live there his wife and daughter.

    Popov died on 2 November at the hotel of the circus in Rostov-on-don, where he arrived on tour. Cause of death was cardiac arrest.

    Oleg Popov made his debut as a clown clowns in 1951. He participated in children's TV shows, appeared in films, including the role himself. The name Popov has become a household name, he created the artistic image of Sunny the clown.
