  • The organizers of the international music festival "Opera in the Chersonese" will hold 18 of August for a charity concert. On Wednesday, August 9 reports the press service of the government of Sevastopol.

And all this at the amazing site of the ancient Tauric Chersonesos", — he stressed.

    The Director of the state historical-archaeological Museum-reserve "Chersonese" Svetlana Melnikova, in turn, pointed out that "the reserve supports the trends of the world's leading museums, which tend to be more open and integrated into the local culture and social life." "To host such a significant event — it is a great honor. Therefore, we gladly provide a platform for additional reserve gala concert," she added.

    Invited artist of the Bolshoi theatre Veronika Dzhioeva said that pleased to have the opportunity to "experience the magical atmosphere of the ancient theater, where scenery will be the columns of the ancient Basilica of Hersonissos and the sea".

    A day earlier it was reported that in Simferopol airport passed the flash mob, which was attended by theatre artists of the State academic musical theatre of the Republic of Crimea. The event was timed to the international festival "Opera in the Chersonese".

    The festival "Opera in the Chersonese" pass with the support of the government of Sevastopol, on August 19-20 at the territory of ancient Chersonesos. The event will be attended by famous Russian and foreign Opera singers. On the stage in the ancient city-Museum under the open sky will be filled with arias from classic productions. According to the organizers, the festival will be attended by over three thousand spectators.
