  • The Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova said that it would be expedient to transfer the convicted person for a violation of order of holding rallies Ildar Dading in another colony. On Thursday, November 3, reports RIA Novosti.

    "It would be advisable to translate Ildar Dading to serve his sentence in another colony, because in any case will always be a suspicion of bias or subjective approach to the person herein after such resonant conflict with his statements," — said Moskalkova.

    Earlier, on 3 November the Deputy Director of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia Valery Maksimenko said that Dading sent for examination in Petrozavodsk city hospital, including for possible epileptic seizures, which, according to the activist, he was.

    A day earlier, lipcer reported, the activist complained about the beating by prison officers after they declared a hunger strike. Later Maksimenko said that the use of violence in the initial screening were not confirmed by prisoners and conducted a physical examination.

    Dading was found guilty of numerous violations during rallies and sentenced to three years in a penal colony in December 2015. At that time, it was the first criminal case under article 212.1, envisaging responsibility for a public event.
