Relatives of the clown Oleg Popov wished that he was buried in Germany, reports RIA Novosti.
"Today will be discussed, which will be a memorial service for the artist (in the Rostov circus, or any circus in Moscow), — said the Director of the Rostov circus Dmitry Reznichenko. — The relatives so wish, as the daughter and wife of Oleg Popova live in Germany," he explained.
Popov died on 2 November in Rostov-on-don, where he arrived on tour. The artist was 86 years old.
He emigrated to Germany in 1991, it pushed in and disagreements with colleagues in the circus and socio-political changes in the country.
In June 2015, Popov called for Russia to receive the international circus award "Master" in the nomination "Legend of the circus." It was the first visit of the artist to his homeland after exile.
