• "Norilsk Nickel" will help to build scientific and technological center in Siberia

  • "Norilsk Nickel" at the Krasnoyarsk economic forum signed with the Siberian Federal University (SFU) supplementary agreement establishing a science and technology centre, worth more than 100 million rubles. This is stated in the press release received by the editors".ru".

    Signatures under the document was signed by acting rector SFU Evgenie Vaganov Vice-President, head of the block of interaction with the authorities and management of "Norilsk Nickel" Elena Bezdenezhnykh.

    According to the cash-strapped, the cooperation of the company and the University will not be confined to a single laboratory. "We have plans in the sphere of ecology, science, education and training. It's just part of the interaction, which shows how long this way of working together," she said.

    In 2017 with the support of "Norilsk Nickel" in the Siberian Federal University will begin the work of scientific-technological center for the development of a dynamic control system, quality control, production and processing of mineral raw materials. The company has already invested in the project of 90 million rubles. To ensure the continued functioning of the centre "Norilsk Nickel" in accordance with the additional agreement, will transfer to donations of 30 million rubles.

    In March it was reported that "Norilsk Nickel" in 2016-m to year sent more than six billion rubles to charity.
