• Moscow street in Kiev was renamed in honor of the fighter with a call sign Godzilla

  • The Commission on names recommended to the Kiev city Council to rename a Moscow street in the city center in honor of a soldier 57 separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed forces of Ukraine Dmitry Gudzenko Callsign Godzilla. On Tuesday, 1 November, reported for The Kyiv city administration.

    According to the information portal, Gazenko died 31 March 2016 as a result of mortar fire. The site also notes that the Commission has considered information about the historical name of the Moscow street. However, the Deputy Chairman of the city administration Alexey Reznikov said that "it is not the name of the street that I want to see on the map of Kiev".

    12 September on the website of city Council for the abolition rename Moscow Avenue in the capital of Ukraine in the prospectus of a name of Stepan Bandera during the day spoke more than 7.5 thousand people.

    In July, the food industry enterprise in Ivano-Frankivsk region renamed the brand of sausage "Moskovskaya" to "Bandera".
