• Medvedev approved the creation of the "Russian seasons"

  • Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on holding the international cultural project "Russian seasons". Relevant document published on the government on Wednesday, February 22.

    "The proposal of the Ministry of culture of Russia about the preparation and conduct annually, starting in 2017, in one of the foreign countries of the international project "Russian seasons,"", — the document says.

    The project envisages the organization of the tour of the best Russian creative groups, Museum exhibitions, festivals, circus arts and film. In the framework of "Russian seasons" also provides for the holding of cultural events in the regions of Russia.

    Chairman of the organizing Committee of the project appointed Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Olga Golodets. Deputy Chairman of the organizing Committee was the Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky.
