• Medina urged the foreign Ministry to organize screenings of Patriotic films abroad

  • The Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky urged the Ministry of foreign Affairs and Rossotrudnichestvo to support foreign screenings of Russian Patriotic paintings of the war. He stated this at a meeting of the Russian organizing Committee "Victory", reports TASS Thursday, April 20.

    "Our military-Patriotic movie, such as "Battle for Sevastopol", "Battalion", "28 Panfilov", collects a huge Desk. This suggests that these films demand," said Medina.

    The head of the Ministry added that Russia has completed the shooting of the film "Sobibor" mass escape from the Nazi death camps.

    The Minister also noted that due to the activities of the Russian military-historical society abroad, has established 10 monuments to Soviet soldiers. According to him, this year will be open three more memorial.

    Earlier on Thursday the Minister of culture commented on the situation surrounding the film by Alexei Uchitel "Matilda". He noted that he finds it impossible to assess not yet released the picture. Medina called discussion the Orgy of democracy.
