  • The Minister of culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky received an honorary sign "Panfilovets". Award policy gave soldiers of the guards division named after Panfilov, member of the great Patriotic war, Vladimir Burtsev. On Wednesday, December 21, reports TASS.

    "On behalf of the Moscow group of veterans Panfilov grateful to you for what you made of honour "Panfilov", their relatives. We have decided to award the sign Panfilovets for your words, we are all guardsmen, and taken in our cohort," said Burtsev.

    "I feel very awkward, because the title of "panfilovets" not to reward, it cannot be assigned, it can only be earned with sweat and blood," said Medina.

    The ceremony took place at the opening of the exhibition "Soldiers of the Fatherland", dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Marshal Konstantin Rokossovsky.
