• Medinsky will participate in the discussion about the 1917 Revolution

  • The Minister of culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky will take part in a round table on the topic "Why the ideas of the Bolsheviks accepted by the society one hundred years after the revolution of 1917". It is stated in the announcement, arrived in edition "Tapes.ru".

    According to the organizers of the discussion, the aim of the project "understanding of non-repetition of the events that triggered the civilizational crisis of the early twentieth century." The event will be held on Tuesday, 16 may at 16:00 in edition of "Komsomolskaya Pravda".

    In the expert session will take part the state Duma Deputy Vyacheslav Nikonov, academician of RAS Sergei Glazyev and scientific Director of the Russian military historical society Mikhail Myagkov. Historians, political scientists and public figures will discuss, in particular, the Parallels between the Revolution of 1917 and the "color revolutions", as well as the possibility of a repetition of this scenario in modern Russia.
