The Russian government is working to preserve effective measures of state support of light industry, and the amount of funds to support the industry can remain at the level of 2.2 billion rubles. This was stated by Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov, reports RIA Novosti.
"As for next year, we are now in the government are working towards conservation of those support measures that have worked effectively this year in the total amount of 2.2 billion rubles. Think about this amount of funds will be provided for light industry and for the next year", — the Minister said on the sidelines of the III all-Russian forum of light industry.
According to him, next year will continue to support leasing to light industry. In addition, the Russian authorities are working tools of promotion of Russian products abroad.
"We will actively promote (light industry products) on foreign markets, using all of these tools, which already proved its efficiency, and those new that will be aimed at the promotion of products for export. Referring to the certification, adaptation to the requirements of foreign markets, the continuation of exhibition activities in parts of one of the pavilions", — stressed the Minister.
Manturov also noted that for the first ten months of this year, the dynamics of all sectors of light industry is positive. For example, the growth in the textile and clothing industry amounted to about 4 percent, leather and footwear — more than 6 percent.
