• China launched the largest booster

  • In China, first launched the largest rocket of new generation "long March 5" ("Changzheng-5"). This was reported by Xinhua news Agency on their page Twitter on Thursday, 4 November.

    The rocket was delivered to Baikonur Vanchan in Hainan province in September 2016, said RIA Novosti.

    At its creation were used more than 200 new technologies. In the State administration of China for science, technology and industry for national defense (SASTIND) reported that the rocket uses non-toxic environmentally friendly fuel and has a highly stable control system.

    According to the Chinese Corporation aerospace science and technology (CASC) Zhao Shuanghui, the fuel used is liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen. "If the launch is successful, China will enter the era of environmentally friendly missiles", — he noted.
