• Japanese Princess renounced the title and married a commoner

  • Princess Mako Akishino, the first granddaughter of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko, has decided to renounce his title to marry a commoner. About it writes Daily Mail.

    Princess Mako graduated from the international Christian University in Tokyo, as her 25-year-old chosen Key Komuro (Kei Komuro). The pair first met five years ago at one of the restaurants of the capital. It is known that the Princess was already acquainted with his beloved family who supported the girls.

    According to Daily Mail, Komuro enjoys skiing, playing the violin and cooking. After the wedding the girl will lose the title.

    The Princess is the eldest daughter of Prince Akishino and Princess Akishino. Representatives of the Royal family has a 22-year-old younger sister Kako and 10-year-old brother, Hisahito. According to the law, to the Imperial throne in Japan can claim only men.

    Princess Mako also was educated at University College Dublin and the University of Edinburgh. She works as researcher of the branch of the Museum of the University of Tokyo and received his doctorate in kulturologii.

    Emperor Akihito took the throne in 1989 after the death of his father Emperor Hirohito. Even in those years when he was crown Prince Akihito became famous as a patron of science. He graduated from the University, is interested in biology and aquatic science, is the author of dozens of scientific papers. Akihito became the first Japanese Emperor, married a girl of non-aristocratic origin, the daughter of the President of a large flour milling company Michiko Seda.
