Non-profit research organization OpenAI created by Elon Musk, has introduced a new way of learning robots. Experts suggest to train the robots using virtual reality, according to a blog of the company.
To teach the robot to any action, the operator must first make it in virtual reality. After this, the algorithm will begin to study its implementation. As an example, it was shown how the robot places the colored cubes.
The algorithm is based on two neural networks. The first is for training in the generated virtual scene and the second is responsible for the actions of the robot. In the end, after one demonstration, the robot can repeat the action without training in a real environment.
