• An Illustrator of superhero comics Bernard ritson died from brain cancer

  • American artist Bernard ritson, Creator of Swamp thing from the DC Comics universe, has died on 69-m to year of life. It is reported portal Collider.

    The cause of death of Ritson was brain cancer, which the Illustrator was struggling the last few years. At the beginning of 2017, the artist announced the retirement because of ill health.

    Ritson, was one of the artists who worked on the series of comics about Spider-Man, Punisher and Batman. In 1971, he teamed up with scriptwriter len Wayne created a superhero named Swamp thing (Swamp Thing), patron of nature and humanity. Persea appears in the animated film "the Dark universe" (Justice League Dark), which will be released in 2017.

    Bernard ritson was also made by the concept artist for the film "Ghostbusters", "galaxy quest" and horror film "the Mist".
