Estonia has accused Russia of violation of air borders of the Republic. This is stated in the report of the General staff of the defence Forces of the country published on its website on Wednesday, November 2.
The report said that on the evening of 1 November, near the island of Vaindloo An-148 of the border service of FSB of the Russian Federation allegedly entered without permission into the airspace of the Baltic republics, and stayed there for about half a minute.
The General staff of the armed forces of defence of Estonia claim that the plane followed off transponders.
"The Estonian foreign Ministry has summoned the Russian Ambassador and handed (him) a note," reads the statement.
Also the defense Ministry claims that in 2016 videoconferencing violated the air border of Estonia seven times.
