The Syrian opposition refused the proposal of the Russian General staff to leave the city of Aleppo. About it reports on Wednesday, November 2 Reuters with reference to the statement of one of the factions.
"This can not be considered. We will not surrender Aleppo Russia and do not give up," said Zakaria Malachite, the representative of group "Fastack", a member of the free Syrian army.
Malachite also said that humanitarian corridors to output civilians and fighters does not exist. "Civilians are afraid of the regime [of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad], they don't trust him", he added.
Earlier, on 2 November the chief of the Russian General staff Valery Gerasimov called the leaders of the armed groups in Aleppo to stop fighting and exit the city with guns through the corridors to the side of the Syrian-Turkish border in Idlib province. However, he noted that all attempts of militants to break the blockade of the city was not successful.
The same day Russian President Vladimir Putin adopted the decision to send another humanitarian pause in the Syrian city of Aleppo on Friday, 4 November. It will last from 9 a.m. to 19 p.m. and introduced "in order to avoid senseless victims".
From 20 to 23 October in Aleppo was introduced, the humanitarian pause, during which local citizens and disarmed fighters were given the opportunity to leave the city. For this there were six corridors for civilians and two corridors for members of the armed forces. On 21 October the chief of the main operational Directorate of the Russian General staff Sergey rudskoy has informed that the corridors are blocked by terrorists and shelled.
