• "Bataclan" will open with a concert by sting

  • British musician sting will perform at the concert hall "Bataclan" 12 Nov, the day before the anniversary of the Paris attacks, The Guardian reports. This will be the first concert in the club after reconstruction.

    The former Police frontman will dedicate the performance to victims of the terrorist attacks. According to the singer, it faces two problems: "first, to honor the memory of those who died during the terrorist attacks a year ago, and second, to celebrate life and music that symbolizes this historic theatre".

    The sale of concert tickets will begin on 8 November. Proceeds will be donated to charities 13 novembre : Fraternité et Vérité ("November 13: the brotherhood and sincerity") and Life For Paris ("Life in Paris") who are engaged in support of the victims of the attacks and their relatives.

    Earlier it was reported that "Bataclan" will open the concert Pete Doherty on 16 November.

    13 November 2015, during a concert of the American rock band Eagles of Death Metal "Bataclan" the terrorists started to shoot from the spectators. Killed 89 people.
