• Academy Mikhalkov and the Timchenko Foundation will support young professionals of cinema and theatre

  • Academy of motion picture and theatrical art Nikita Mikhalkov, with the support of the Charitable Foundation Elena and Gennady Timchenko re-launched a project to support young professionals of cinema and theatre in the regions of Russia. About it reported in a press release received by the editors".ru".

    Abiturientam wishing to become producers, actors and Directors will give the opportunity to pass free training in the 2017-2018 academic year at the Academy Mikhalkov.

    In the framework of the project from 23 April to 5 June in five regions of Russia (in Yaroslavl region in April, the Nizhny Novgorod region, Republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan in may, Novosibirsk oblast in June) will exit the selection Committee. Recruitment will take place in the areas of acting, film directing and production art.

    "I highly appreciate the cooperation of the Academy with the Charity Foundation Elena and Gennady Timchenko, since through this collaboration, 20 talented young people from different parts of the country will receive this year the opportunity to undergo training at the Academy," said Mikhalkov, who is the rector of the University.

    The project is supported by the Timchenko Foundation for the second year in a row. Last year at preferential place was taken 16 students out of 200.
